Moose Hunting

Over the past twenty-five years, we have been monitoring the moose population in the area keen to note the best calling areas. Moose spotted by our fisherman and staff, have been plentiful throughout the area. Several large bulls have been sited with 50-65” racks. These animals have had no hunting pressure and no contact with humans. The smallest Moose we have ever harvested measured 48 inches – the largest – 56 inches.
The moose hunts will be based out of Treeline Lodge, Tice Lake and Putahow Lake. Clients will travel by motorboat to calling areas - which are easily accessible via canoe or Zodiak raft. Hunters need to be in good physical condition for this hunt and be prepared to spend a night or two camping out with your guide. Nueltin Lodges will outfit you with all the necessary equipment.
